A DISCIPLE is a Follower of Jesus
In the original language of the Bible, a Disciple is a Follower, a “learner” from Christ Jesus.
Disciples develop in belief and practice, based on proper instructions from the Bible with its
necessary follow-through with life applications.
The Key Marker of a Disciple is Love (Matthew 22:37-40)
Love is experienced and shown through the help and Fruit of Holy Spirit, being Love, Joy,
Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Gentleness and Strength of spirit (Galatians 5:
22-23)
These markers are active and growing within the life and heart of the Christian Believer.
They are within the rhythms of God’s Grace (His Favour) and are not self-driven.

and follows the promptings of the Holy Spirit. - Finds opportunities to serve others and grow in their Holy Sprit Gifts (1 Corinthians
